Crocheted juggling balls

Clever Mrs Fab has crocheted me some new juggling balls, as my old ones are now in Thailand with young Master Fab.

It was a joint effort but she has done the clever bit. I filled four balloons with rice and then cut the neck off another balloon and put the original rice-filled balloon inside it. You can see a one in the making in the picture below, where the yellow balloon has been put inside a grey one. Mrs Fab then crocheted two semi-circles and sewed them together over the balloons.

Really really work well, I mean juggle well :-D

Very nice balls. A good idea with the balloons and rice. Tell Mrs Fab, she doesn't have to make two halves and sew them together. When she gets to the halfway stage, pop the ball inside and carry on going round and round, decreasing stitches gradually until there is only three left, then pull them together and sew in the end of the wool.
