I dont know if any of you use Stylecraft, Sirdar, Rowan, James C Brett or King Cole wool, but at Deramores (online), they have 25% off those brands until 30th April. Postage is free if you spend £25 too.

Also stylecraft DK in bright pink is down from £1.99 a ball to only £1 (no further discounts).

Just thought some of you may be interested in stocking up, but do it quickly as it ends soon :-D

I usually buy online these days as it is cheaper and offers more selection. Also I can really recommend both Deramores and Wool Warehouse for service - arrives really quickly. :-D

{rofwl} The garden centre where I work has just started selling wool etc, and I spent some time on Saturday putting knitting patterns into clear pockets in a folder. One was of this VW camper van cushion, and my friend has a van so thought I would make him one for his birthday.

They didnt have all the colours I needed at work, so I looked online. Then I saw the 25% offer, and saw that my usual yarn (stylecraft special DK) was also on offer.

So I bought £25 worth for free postage........ {rofwl}

Lets hope I can make it :?

Like that cushion, I have never done that sort of knitting. I am definitely going to get some wool from the on line sites, need to get the cardigan and sweater I have in pipe line done first. That is one thing I miss about Sussex (and I don`t miss much) is popping over to Worthing and going to the Fabric shop there, loads of choice in wool and material etc.

There doesn't see to be anything much in the way of wool and material shops here. I got this last lot of wool from Hobbycraft but that is in Cheltenham which is about 15 miles from us so bit of a drive.

Post a piccie when you have done the cushion, would love to see it.

Did you know that your profile still says Sussex?

Near the top of the page, on the left, in a green stripe, just under 'Forum Index'. It says 'User Control Panel'. If you click that, then click Profile, you can change things.

Thanks. Don't hold your breath though {rofwl} My daughter was flabbergasted when she saw the pattern yesterday. She knows my knitting skills {rofwl} (nice word that, flabbergasted - don't hear it much these days!)
