Down the Lane

One of our Grandsons is getting married next May.

So I thought I would make them a throw, as part of my present.

How is it made?

Swedish [ or huck ] weaving.
Quite easy, I enjoy doing it. But hate the hemming when finished.

Wendy - is it huckaback? My Mother used to use it in school.

Never heard of it Spreckly. but this is what it says on Google
1.a strong linen or cotton fabric with a rough surface, used for towelling and glass cloths.

The cloth I use is called Monks Cloth.

The stitches are all the same, it is just done in different patterns and shapes
