Anyone collect these? I used to got to Ty fairs a few years ago and met lots of nice people and lots of 'orrid people. They suddenly petered out which was a shame.

So what is your oldest.
I had a 'proper' teddy as a child (not sure what make) He got quite threadbare. And a cocker spaniel (same sort of cloth with sawdust? stuffing -floppy ears - sitting up not jointed legs like Teddy). Drake was 'good', Teddy was always being told off. I gave the dog away to a younger girl when I was a teenager (even though i loved him best). Teddy was played with by my children but went rotted after being played with outside and left in the rain.

I am tempted to say that toys should be toys and loved not collected.
On the other hand I had a small collection of Wade whimsies as a teenager and other little ornaments.

My oldest toy is a knitted donkey my aunty made me. I know I am not supposed to 'play' with my collection….but the tys get dressed up(love making them clothes  ) and the steiffs take it in turns to sit on the bedside table.
