Greetings to all Cheshire cats here.
Do you fancy a night out in Poynton? Get your dancing clothes and comfy shoes on and come to thePoynton Ceilidh on Saturday.
You don't need to be an expert, the caller tells you what to do.
We could all wear an egg shaped badge, or straw in our hair, to recognise each other.
Members from other counties would also be welcome.

Wish I could come, I'm the worlds worst dancer (I even refused to do a first dance at my own wedding LoL) but I'd love to give something liek that a go.
Waiting to welcome Sunny Clucker to Northern Ireland!
I love a Ceilidh and it's not too far to travel, but I'm already out on Saturday - like busses, no social life for 12 years then two nights out come along at once
" -zere isn't much to do 'ere, unless you like cooking and chickens!"
I've just been reading the Guardian editorial.
It says
"In these difficult times, it is more important than ever to remember what makes for a happy life. .......the top influences are community, exercise, listening to music and doing things in a group.......they are all found together in country dancing."
So there you are.
If you can't come to this ceilidh, there'll be one near you somewhere. Get your dancing shoes on and enjoy it.
Well the people who would have come either lived to far away or were doing something else.
I'll start a thread in Members Only to see if we want to try something else.
Well I enjoyed it and so did OH, but perhaps it was as well no-one else came. Half the tickets were sold before the start time (people often wander in late for Ceilidhs). And they put the full house signs up later. I'll have to start booking my ticket in advance.
