Defra consultations

Post by Mo »

The latest Soil Association newsletter suggests we visit Defra 's Food 2030 discussion site to give our views. After a bit of trouble with with an out of date link to Defra's redesigned site (with a search facility that wasn't updated) I found a list of consultations, past and present here.
I couldn't see 'Food 2030' but there seem to be a lot of interesting topics covered.

Sorry I just really dislike DEFRA and resent my tax paying their wages. They should have to implement some of their rules themselves before foistering them on others. And they always go overboard with directives from the EU!

So we should tell them our side of the story, loud and often.

Very good but only a tiny part of things. Most of the time they are a bunch of pen pushers on top wages who never get out into the countryside.
