Unpasteurised milk?

Post by fabindia »

Listening to the radio yesterday, there are moves to ban unpasteurised milk on health and safety grounds. This inspite of there being virtually no cases of people becoming I'll from drinking it over the 7 or 8 years. If people are informed enough of the risks, it seems crazy to put such a ban in place, it becomes just another case of the nanny state.

If you want people to stop becoming I'll due to food poisoning, then ban the sale of all chicken meat - it notoriously bad for causing seever food poisoning.

Never had an upset tummy or anything from drinking unpasteurised milk. We used to hand milk our house cow, take the milk indoors and strain it through muslin and use it. No problem.
