Loft Insulation

I'm sure I read somewhere that snow is a good indicator of
heat loss through the roof.

I went out to have a look and mine looks OK with a good covering but some are even better.

There are some where the snow has started to go, though. It could have been the wind I suppose but the wind is very light around here so far.

What do you think?

Not just an indicator of the insulation, the amount of snow left will vary depending on how warm you had the heating on - or not at all in the case of our neighbouring street which had a power cut.
