Jodi yeah me poor pleb in private rental - I am lucky to at least have a roof over my head! The private rental market is crazy at the moment.

I used to work for the Dept of Housing in WA and although I wasn't in the actual public housing management area, some of the people who worked there told some stories about what was expected of them by the tenants. They would never have gotten those things (eg repairs) done for them so quickly in the private rental market (and if they were homeowners would be even worse off!!!!) but they still gave the property managers a really rough time. I don't envy them that job!
