Hi

I did just what Bluebell said.. and they got in touch- I helped at Barnsley but I may be helping to drive hens to Pickering next time so Tina in Barnsley may be glad of your help. Its great fun and rewarding- go for it! :-D >ch<

{hug}

I will gladly put a little banner up in the sidebar if it helps.

It may not work but with up to 3,000 visiting the Forum everyday you could get completely overloaded.

But......the offer is there.

Richard )t'

PS. The same applies for any Hen Re-Homing Organizations

Will do a little banner and pm it to you in the morning then you can get it agreed or whatever.

Just on the lines of 'Next Re-Homing is on......... go to web site' which can be changed each time.

I have ordered 3 but I hope I can have 4 but cant find a contact number so I can amend my reservation.
I thought about reserving again but that will be just 1 they might think I'm odd.

Not long now, There new half way house is all ready.
I hope a week in there next to my older girls will help them settle before I move them to the big run.

Hi

First - well done )t' )t'

Second - you could ask on their facebook page how to do it. Just ask a contact number or something, don't give yours out to the World !!!

The time is getting nearer for my new girls to arrive and the panic is starting to rise..
So question 1
Will the ex battery girls need to be wormed and de bugged for red mite.
question 2
Will they eat normal layers pellet from the start and can they have the same extras as my older girls. ie: pasta rice lots of different veg. They do love tomatoes.
Thank you for your help.
I will no doubt have more questions nearer the time..

Not been on here for ages but thought I'd check in again.
Hi Aceface, we met on here way back when you collected my old coop for your rescues. Now here I am as a fully fledged FSFH rescuer and collection point with lots of ex commercial girls firmly nestled into my heart and home :-D These hens have changed my life so much for the better :-)
