It would appear that everyone received the standard reply.....did you all check out 'properties' on it?? I now have the email addresses of 150 people, one of them being morph!!

I am curious about this and will phone Data Protection tomorrow.

Mel, you will have different addresses as mine contained A-D.........If Ilona sent one then she will have even more.

I have a feeling that its not legal - we will know tomorrow.

Signed up and taking poster to local store tomorrow. I wrote to them about their egg policy, using a template from the IFAW, and the manager of the local store just passed the buck and forwarded my letter to head office. The reply was a standard load of ****. I will keep pestering them, as their excuses, and the way they blame the "consumer," is just pathetic.

Yes, I saw it too - aren't you funny AnnaB finding my email address!!

Well, I emailed them back to say I was disgusted with this circulation of emails addresses without permission, and that I would be contacting the appropriate authorities.

I have received a reply apologising for this "oversight".......well it won't be the end of that!!!!!! If we can't get them one way, then we can get them another!!!

Well - I've called data protection and it definitely is a breach. I've been told a complaint can be made. Here's the link to their claim form:

I'm just filling mine in now!!!!!!!!!!

I too phoned Data Protection and they said that they are in breach of the Act....I have lodged a formal complaint.
I have also contacted all the people on the list to tell them of the breach......hopefully they will do something about it.

Karen.....what letter does your email begin with?? I do not want it all, all I have as does morph is A-D.
Pm me with it.
Thanks Anna

I contacted all the people via BCC on the email list and have had so many replies back. They are all incensed about their addresses being out there for everyone to see.

CIWF had 1000 sign up - that is a lot of addresses.

I have complained to our friends, CIWF and The Sunday Times.

I had an 'apology' back from our friends - would you believe a standard reply - so many have sent me theirs!!!
Mel - I'll email you
