I phoned her a few weeks back and thought it would be quick with all the work she does, but she chatted away for quite a while.

I agree Wendy, a lovely lady, it'll be good to see her again.

Thanks for that citrine, i will be phoning her when i get back from my holiday next week, i was hoping it would not be to long!

Im hoping to get 3 or 4 more

It could possibly be there's a second lot and the first are already reserved.
I think I recall her saying it's hard to say dates for certain as Farmers can change their own plans etc.

I'll wait with patience and await the call. At least it will be less cleaning for a few more weeks when I'm at a busy period for Cricket.

Ex-Batts are harder to come by in Kent, Sussex and Surrey. Don't know exactly why, but they are.

At least we both have some already.

Any idea of email of other contact detail for Diana as no answerphone and keen to get on the list for 6 of the Kent hens. Also does anyone know where from in Kent in terms of transport?

I spoke to Diana last night, sadly she was promised 1900 hens and the farmer changed his mind!? All the hens for July have got homes waiting )c( So she has put my name down for august (hopefully) as always can not count on it being that month though. Have to play the waiting game again!! But if any are left from the july rescue then i said give me a call.

Oh yes so worth the wait. And it gives me time to order my hubby around while we(he) extend the run for the new arrivals!!!
