Hiya.
Get onto
North London Hen Rescue

www.northlondonhenrescue.org.uk fill in the forms and you will find out when the next one should be. Alternatively get onto
The Battery Hen Welfare Trust.

Try the BHWT (british hen welfare trust) and the North London Hen Rescue, both website addresses under this heading somewhere, but just google the names and they should just come up, hope that helps,

They are both excellent groups and work really really hard.

Do make sure you do your homework first, but there are lots of us us to advise you

We have ex-batts and they are adorable.

Hi Gary!!

What a shame - we have just had a rescue at the weekend. The next one by NLHR is due in October, if you visit the website www.northlondonhenrescue.org.uk, there is an application form to complete and you are then put onto the list for next rescue.

I have to say I have NEVER seen hens as bad as this weekends. How anyone can sleep knowing how they were kept is beyond me.

A few people from here are part of the 'rescue team' as it were and I think everyone is in a state of shock at the moment - they were that bad!!!

Thank goodness there are lots of lovely people like you willing to open their hearts and give these lovely ladies a home!!

Please let us know how you get on, Gary!
