Regarding the possible automated chicken poo collection.....Heath Robinson would have had a marvellous diagram to explain it , no doubt involving kitchen sieves, an airship and various washing lines!

His diagrams were very tongue in cheek, often making light of awful situations. But nevertheless, in his own subtle way, making sure that the reality message was getting across.

Most people just don't think about how these poor chickens live, let alone defacate. I really don't know where the manure pellets come from but perhaps it is worth looking into and, if necessary, publicising?

I am constantly told that I have an over active imagination but I STILL can't imagine how battery hens' poo is cleaned up.

Find out how they remove and what they do with....chicken poop.
You may have to go into some not very nice website though.
