Edinburgh areaEdinburgh areaLots of ex-commercial free range hens up for rehoming. Contact (names removed - Richard) or the British Hen Welfare Trust.
Re: Edinburgh areaHi,
I'm really sorry but the names were mentioned in a previous thread in the ex-battery hen category, someone told the two people concerned and they wrote to me asking not to have their names mentioned. At first, it was mistakenly seen as these two people are associated with BHWT, but the post did not in any way say that, so I left that bit. Maybe you want to contact them both yourself soozy. I think sometimes there is a misconception that if a name is mentioned, you are going to be inundated with threats, hate mail and other. Mod Wendy runs an ex-battery hen forum and in my years of openly publicising it on TV., Radio and Newspapers, I have never had any comeback whatsoever, nor has Wendy. It's about re-homing chickens. But, if anyone wishes to remain anon, I have to respect it. Thanks, Richard PS. I should say I have had a few exchanges with the person JB and she really is a good gal and has very positive views about re-homing ex-battery hens. New Member?
