It's with much sadness that I need to post about re-homing our Nita {cry}

Due to bad behaviour and bullying.

Is there anyone reliable, who would be able to commit to giving her a loving home, who has the space for an extra hen and the time to do introductions safely?

I'm so sad as I've never had a hen like this before {cry}

I got Nita from a reputable and respected poultry supplier and have the paperwork we were given.

We are in the Milton Keynes area.

Shame you are not near Saffron Walden (where I work) as your girlie would find a home with my flock.

Have you tried the following? When naughty hen misbehaves immediately hold her down firmly with one hand and gently tap her beak for 30 seconds or so with your fingernail.

You are imitating the top hen keeping her flock in order - worth a try using some chicken psychology on your naughty Nita.

What a relief for you to find a new home so quickly. She certainly doesn't seem at all bothered to be somewhere else does she. Good on you Bev for rehoming her and giving your other girls some peace. {hug}
