9,000 hens in free range Sussex farm to be slaughtered

Just seen this cross posted from the Sussex Argos. British Hen Welfare Trust are taking several thousand of these poor hens but that still leaves many to die an early death.
The hens will be available from Aug 31st. If you buy from the farm £2 each. Mac's Farm Ditchling Sussex.
Contact Ms Baumgardt of Brighton Animal Action who is co-ordinating the rescue. They did a fabulous rescue 18 months ago and are hoping to be able to cancel the slaughter lorries!
