Bless them all :-D
And bless you lot that saved them all )c(

I would love to come and help at the next rescue. I do not have a van or anything that could be used as transport but would be a willing pair of hands in the shed if it would help. How do I go about "putting my name down" to help? confused>

Well done to all of you for this weekends rescue, I was called by Phil last Sunday to help out and he said he would call back but didn't and so I thought it might have been cancelled!

Feel a bit gutted! I want to help, I have a car and a trailer too so when there is another planned I'd love to help!

Hopefully I can have a bit more than a weeks notice so I can do the Saturday as I was working yesterday morning! :?

Glad to hear that all the hens got freed.

Taz

Oh no. He was robust and full of himself.... a little beauty, even with all he had been through.

Bloomin' heck. I wish I had seen him. Well, just pleased he is out and about. All the hens we received were all in good condition.

I have asked for a photograph [you know how I love the cockerels] as I didn't really see him properly.

so pleased the rescue went well. I did say we wanted to help at the next rescue, but unfortunately this weekend we were emptying our old house - what a nightmare, and where to put everything as present house is not habitable yet. So, sadly I could not come and help because of this.

Will do our best to be at the next rescue though, as I do want to do my bit to rescue these girls!!

We helped a little, got our little lot to Bristol and Cardiff, all ok and actually quite perky because they had a nice rest halfway.

There are some lovely people out there who really helped, thankyou all.

I did not cry this time as I know they have gone to good homes.

I only wish we could do more...

But, like Wendy says....drip...drip...drip Ta Wendy xxx

NB: Wendy, I have fell in love with the smallest cockerel ever, unfortunatley, so has his owner!! ah well, now looking!
