Fresh Start for Hens and their amazing volunteers do a great job in rehoming ex-battery hens throughout the country.

I've got some hens that I got about five years ago from FSFH, half of them are still laying - which I think is totally amazing. The pleasure they give is immense - Aceface is a brilliant FSFH Co-ordinator so anyone in South Yorkshire (or near abouts) get booking on the Fresh Start for Hens website.
