Finding a new home for Ivor - Suggestions please

Good Afternoon,

I wonder if anyone can give some advice.

Essentially we've been keeping chickens for almost 10 years. Last year we received some chicks and raised them. One is a cockerel named Ivor and has recently received a complaint for his early morning crowing.

I've spent 3+ weeks looking for a new loving for him, with absolutely no success.

Can anyone please suggest where else we can try or perhaps know of anyone who can offer him a lovely new home?

I'm in Essex and willing to travel to re-house him.

We've received zero assistance from the Local Council and suspect they want us to put him down, which we couldn't possibly do. He's a pet afterall.

Look forward to the responses.

Regards

Zee

He's beautiful.

There are places who will take him and re-home him or keep, whatever works best for him. But I can't put a finger on a contact at the moment. You may have to travel to home him.

Good luck.

Hi, poor you and Ivor! {cry}
I don't know where in Essex you are, but there was a lovely young man in Colchester who took our cockerals 2 yrs ago. If you follow the link for breeders, his email is under "Scarletts". He has a small holding and really loves his animals.
Hope that helps! >fi<
