7 lovely ex batt ladies need rehoming Liverpool

Hello everyone. Is anyone out there interested in homing our girls. We have had ex-batts now since 2009 and in that time have rehomed about 30 hens. We are down to 7 at the moment. In the past we have been able to manage holidays and other absences easiy enough with family members and friends doing the honours. In fact, they are such celebrities among our acquaintances that we nevr have a problem with this. However, we are planning to have a long absence spending 3-4 months in Portugal soon and can't expect anyone to take on this much responsibility. We have one son at home but his work hours are long and this is so unfair on the girls especially in winter when they need more care. We can't see a way round this except to rehome them. It's such a pity becuae we built them a huge Cluckingham Palace at great expense! We are in Liverpool and they are back garden chickens. I would welcome your advice. Thank you, Paula

I love this site you are all so kind and caring. The way people jump in to rehome chickens gives me faith in the world and some of you drive miles to collect them and give them a home its wonderful. x
