Hi Simon , If you are reading this .
Girls are still doing well and still much loved.
Moulting some of them . Ranger gets up on bird table , Brown girl sleeps outside in the run and the rest sleep in the coops .
All well from holiday home .

Sorry not to catch up sooner. Many thanks for the update, and I'm really pleased that the girls have settled in well - they sound happy & relaxed, and I can't thank you enough for providing a loving home for them )t'

I've not been in a position yet to think about keeping any chooks here in my new home in sunny Manchester, but I have a sister who lives fairly local to me & she keeps 3 silkies in her garden ... so I do at least have a surrogate feathered family to lavish attention upon :-D

Light Sussex , girl died yesterday at 4.30 pm . After a long illness .
Sorry to advise , I done my best but failed .

My apologies for the delay in responding ...

Sad to hear about the passing of one of the girlies {cry} but I've absolutely no doubt you did everything you could in the circumstances

I hope that the rest of the old flock, & indeed your own flock, are all doing well ... I can't thank you enough for providing a loving home for them ... {hug}

Pm me your email address and I would only be to happy to send them . You my even recognise them (Put some weight on as they blend in with the rest of the fatties on my patch.
