SO SAD

I havent posted on this site for a while due to family illness. My four lovely old girls had a good life - a lovely coop and run, the best bedding, food and company. Through good and bad times they've been such lovely companions to me and Jim. Sadly, we lost two last year at about 7 years old. The other too have lingered on with no eggs, but happy to eat and have a warm bed at night. Our biggest girl Sassy died on Christmas morning in my arms. We now have sweet natured Daisy, a large speckledy who is all alone.
I am partially disabled and Jim is now coping with a terminal illness and neither of us can give Daisy the best of care, although we are doing our best to love and tend her. She is lost and confused without her companion and we hate to see her like this.
Is there anyone out there who could give a home to a geriatric hen with a lovely nature?
