battery hen re-homing end of Aug in Bedford

Post by melons »

If anyone wants to re-home some battery hens the end of this month, let me know & I'll point you in the right direction.
It isn't a BHWT re-homing, it's one been done through the Practical Poultry forum, lets see if we can get some extra ladies a home they deserve :-D
It is in Bedfordshire, there is a collection of hens being made, then they can be collected from junction 13 on the M1, sounds dodgy but it isn't :-D I may be able to help with getting some for others, I live on the Bedford border, I sadly can't take any for myself, I took one extra in June & I'm full.
I'm just trying to do the 2nd best thing & generate some homes another way.
Either contact through me or go straight to this forum

scroll down to rescue & battery hens

Some would be great, loads would be amazing :-D

17th of August, if my calendar is correct, that's next friday?
I'm possibly already dropping one off for re-homing somewhere near South Mimms services on the north bit of the M25 , if that helps anyone else who wants one / a few?
