Saturday kitchen.

Post by saint-spoon »

Is it me or has this programme gone the same way as top gear? It used to be about the cooking and the recipes but it seems more about celebrity guest blowing their own trumpets and counting how many Michelin stars they have all got. Just MO

It has a lot I think, it use to be about the food and James (yum), good wholesome cooking now it is about those stars and a tiny amount of food on a huge plate. Bring back Delia before she went weird {rofwl}

Have I got the right programme, is that the one with James Martin.

I think some of the omelettes those chefs make look like vomit! Wouldn't want them to serve me that in one of their restaurants. :-D

Why would you? I bought one of his cook books in a charity shop the other day - really good. Mind you, not as, well, 'good looking' as Gino.

That's ok Bettie - what you have to remember is that when you get to my age you can't afford to be that fussy!!! Ha ha ha! {rofwl}

Gino DaCampo still rocks though!

yike* That is a SHOCKING photo of him - how could you Bettie? {rofwl}

At least I have 3 of his cook books with carefully posed photos making him look like an Italian dreamboat.
