There are hens on tv yelled my aunty so I put it on and this programme was on. A man had been selling his battery eggs as free range and had made £3 million. A man clad in white with a hairnet showed how you could tell the difference between free range and battery eggs under ultra violet light. The battery eggs had lines on whee they fell on the wire. They showed the battery hens and beleive me they were not in enriched cages I am still at an utter loss Defra's rules for hens DO NOT in any shape or form apply to caged birds.
