Anyone from up North ?

Yes, it's a bit like that round here, ha ha. I've seen the two new episodes and I'm wondering if the story lines are going to get too complicated to follow. There are more twists and turns now, and some of it seems a bit silly. Someone needs to give that Celia a shake. Poor Alan with all that emotional baggage to contend with.

Funny thing is that Derek Jacobi is gay and he's playing a part of a chap who used to be a bit of a ladies man it seems!

For all the complicated and somewhat unbelievable situations, it's very well acted.

I was reading an article recently that Anne Reid and Derek are the bestest of friends. He fell and hurt himself and Anne rallied around to help him. Not sure if Derek has a partner at the moment. He is a brilliant actor.

Good for him. I've seen him on a few chat shows and always comes over as a really genuinely nice chap.
