Mentioned today I enjoyed the programme on last night about Clara Bow, only one customer knew who she was out of the 5 in the conversation, scary though when Sam mentioned John Wayne the 2 twenty somethings asked who is That

I've never heard of Clara Bow, and I'm 66. I do remember the John Wayne movies.

I can remember my Mother talking about Clara Bow.
I am 71, so maybe that's why

Clare Bow was the IT girl. Very well known in her day. I am only in my forties but I have heard of her!

I am 29 ok I am 58 I loved Clara Bow, Louise Brooks,Theda Bara and my favourite Jean Harlow, have all of her films on video.
Wow though I feel 108 when John Wayne is unknown by the younger generation, sad also a lot of them have no idea who Fred and Ginger were, perhaps because tv dosent seem to show hardly any black and white films these days.
