Have really been enjoying the new series last night's episode was one of the saddest moments I have ever seen in a drama. It was the thought that anyone could be allowed to die hungry, maybe in pain but alone that just broke my heart. I do not want to appear flippant but when the show was over I had to watch an episode i had taped of Benidorm before I went to bed.
What excellent actors there are in this show, they all make you really care what happens to them all.

Oh Sandy, I totally agree. I've only just caught up with this episode and it was so sad. It's heartbreaking to think something like that must have gone on and what a terrible time in history to be portrayed. As you say the acting is outstanding )like(
