The Real Full Monty
The Real Full MontyI respect that some may have found nudity in men somewhat disrespectful, but last nights ITV Documentary showing some 8 'celebs' inc. Alexander Armstrong, Wayne Sleep, Dom Littlewood and others doing literally the Full Monty at the London Palladium in an effort to raise awareness of Testicular and Prostate Cancer was, in my opinion, inspirational.
If you have time and missed it, well worth a watch. Those who did watch it, any comments ? Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome
Re: The Real Full MontyI watched it and thought they were all brilliant.
Going outside their comfort area to raise awareness to Prostate and Testicular cancer. As you know Prostate cancer research, has been a favoured charity of mine http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning
Re: The Real Full MontyGood for you Wendy. I thought of you more than once
That Diversity bloke has really come on in leaps and bounds. I tended to think just another street dancer, but he shows such talent and real ability to teach. Very funny yet very emotional. Must admit I shed a tear. Richard New Member? Get more from the Forum and join in 'Members Chat' - you're very welcome

Re: The Real Full MontySuch a good cause which was handled brilliantly. Even though some of the celebs were pretty fit (yes I can still appreciate a good body) it took some courage to go the real full monty. I hope it will make men in general examine themselves and get the numbers for testicular cancer down.
Well done all those who were brave enough to take part and thanks for giving me a good laugh as well as feeling a bit emotional. I am now a widow and live with my memories.
Re: The Real Full MontyThanks for the reminder Richard, I'll look for that on catchup. I loved the original film.
Ilona Re: The Real Full MontyYes, I really enjoyed it and appreciated how difficult that must have been for them (remember the chicken calendar? ). Funny, moving and with a serious message to men to get checked!

3 children, 3 grandchildren, 3 chooks, 3 fish, a shrimp that thinks its a prawn and a dappy dog. http://www.acountrygrandma.blogspot.com Re: The Real Full MontyI watched it this afternoon and enjoyed it. Brought a tear to my eye, it was quite emotional. I actually clapped and cheered when they did their routine for the first time in the original club, it was just like the film. As you say June, some of them were pretty fit. I loved how they all got into their part when the time came, they looked like they were enjoying it.
Ilona Re: The Real Full MontyCaught up with this at the weekend and really enjoyed it. Killing myself laughing when they were in the supermarket They all really seemed to enjoy it though the more they got into it.
