A United Kingdom - film

Post by Spreckly »

Last night we watched this excellent film. I can just remember the furore about Seretse Khama and his wife, Ruth Williams.

I love and admire the beauty of Rosamund Pike, who played the wife, and though the name of the lead actor escapes me, he was amazing also.

Worth watching if it comes to the TV again.

I don't know how I missed that film. Will look out for it to be repeated again as it's a long time since I saw a film that I really enjoyed. Glad you enjoyed it. )t'

June, it was the big film on Saturday night. Think it was on BBC2.

The films we want to see don't get repeated, while the ones we don't are on and on and on.

Some years since I watched "Miss Rose White", and missed the end, which I hadn't recorded. I haven't seen it on since, and it is pricey on ebay.
