A Rustic Decoration

Post by Richard »

This was hung on the wall of the Italian Restaurant we went to today.

It's about 8 feet wide and is basically a load of logs sawn about 1" thick and put in a home made picture frame with no glass.

Cost virtually nothing, but hard work. Pity about the red wall though.

Hmm, no glass. Do you think people will be tempted to pull bits out, to watch it all re-arrange. Or is that just me.

Should this be in the extra income section as a idea for sale at car boots.

I actually pondered upon what Category it should go in.

At first sight it looked like a wood stack. I think it looked great, but personal opinion etc.

But, true, could be money in that !!

If your name is Damien, it would be worth a fortune, I think it looks like a stack of wood, it doesn't do anything for me. Now if there was a mouse or two peeping out, that would be interesting.

A Cunio !!

Agreed though, you could put just one small 'thing' in couldn't you.

I've made Pen Holders from logs. Well, not made them, just got a nice shaped one with a junction, then drilled holes in it !

I like the log thingy , and it could be useful on a cold rainy winters eve when the log pile has dissappeared  Saves taking the chair legs off to burn (f+
