paper bricks

Post by bmpsands »

I've done a couple of lots of these and worked out that glossy paper is a no no; scrunching up is important; OH can exert more pressure than I can and this makes for better logs.

I use shredded paper in the coops, but in this weather it is not so good as it holds the damp. Can I use the excess shredded paper to make logs?
Bea; 19 hens (most of whom I intended to get); 6 bantams (which I never intended to have); old Benji dog and young Toby dog (who I definitely wanted). Three years into country living and loving it.

I used to use shredded paper sometimes, and found that it worked better if I kind of lined the mould with a sheet of paper first.
