lid hinge

Hi guys
The coop I have has not got a hinge on the box where you get the eggs.
It's the type that when you open the box it locks so you don't need to hold it up when you are looking in.
Does anyone know what these are called or where to get one.

If so they are lid support hinges. Plenty pop up when you do a search )t'

Nice surprise about this shorter form. Can you tell us what it is you are talking/writing about?
