Juice them, make cider and they'll keep for 6 months or more )w(

Seriously though, some great tips here. Thanks, we'll be trying some of them.

My brother just gave me 2 boxes of apples which I don't know where to place. Which among those tips would be suited for me?

Do you know what variety they are?
Eaters or Cookers?
A lot of the eaters are going a bit mushy now - assuming you are in England. I find mine start losing their flavour after Christmas. And my Bramley cookers are not as good as they were - I still have Crispin dual purpose.

Store them anywhere that is cool but free from frost and mice. Some might fit in the salad drawers of the fridge. Check them regularly and throw away any that are going brown (or use the good parts). Or cook and freeze (in pies or portions).

I think you'd have to juice or make sauce with them Nate...as the temps are higher in the Phillipines at the moment they won't store well..you'd need later harvested apples to store through winter.
