Shower gel saving

Post by Julia »

Call me cheap but for the past 15 years I have been able to save a fortune on shower gel.

I have a friend who is a chemist and assures me that the recipe they use for shower products is essentially the same as creme bath(bubble bath).

I originally bought a pump action shower gel container and have, for the past 15 years, replenished it with creme bath at about a fifth of the cost.

And if you are worried about your skin - I have sensitive skin and have never has any ill effects.

I have tried that but used cheap bubble bath and it just ran straight out of our wall dispenser - I should have tried the cremem bath! I usually buy son of Morris cheapo stuff 33p a bottle - the way my youngest gets through it I need the cheapest I can get.

I'me not sure a wall dispenser would work even with creme bath.
I use a sort of plunger upright thingy so it can't dribble out.
