Ummm I know what you mean, mine have come out the other side of that now.
My eldest was the worst, he was out one night and I cannot remember why but he started arguing with me by text (and I paid the bill) so I rang BT and told them he had lost his phone and could they block his simcard. That stopped him - tee-hee
He's 20 now and lovely, the worst at the moment is the 18 year old, I cannot get him out of bed until nearly tea time but he makes just enough to get by trading in car parts on eBay so won't look for a proper job (he would need to work nights )
My mother bought quite a few blankets from a car boot sale, and there's a shop in swindon called Shaws, that does lots of cheap duvet covers and flannel sheets, don't know if they're chain or not..
My kids have fleece blankets nice thickish, am afraid from woolies ages ago, and ikea, they love them and walk about in a morning with them getting tucked up on the sofa,we have a few so always washing them, they don't take long to dry at all. i like them.
OH DEAR: i have like what seems like hundreds of woolen blankets even have a crocheted woolen blanket, that really are no longer in use as my 3 daughters move out and have only son , hubby and me, and have bed warmers , i feel terrible , i wont throw them out , and here we have no way of passing them on, if only i could, i would help you all
We have some lovely crocheted blankets that my grandmother made... just to use up odd bits of wool... have you seen the price of them in such trendy places as Kath Kidston?
nmo book binder but im sure if we had to purchse these they would be well out my price range, theis was made up of like you say odds left over from wool , made into squares and lovingly put together, loads and loads of colours
The woman at the counter said 'they'll be ok for the dog or something'
Nice and clean, a bit bobbly in places but otherwise excellent.
Thank God hub was with me to help me carry them LOL.
