Quick fruit cages!

Whacked these together on the site ready for preparing next years strawberry patch! All that was paid for was the wire and a few nails! :-D

Nice one Mallard that should keep the pest of the strawbs.
I have decided next year I will have four times as many strawberry plants as I have now. that way we may get a bowl full each all at once :-D
One thing I have learned is you should always plant many more peas and strawberries than you think you nead )t'

I didn't get strawberries this year to plant, but will get some plants in next year and may need to sweetheart my hubby to help me build a fruit cage like yours. )t'

That's the way to go. Think of what you would pay for something to do the same job from a Shop !!

They don't look quite so new now, but I've made more as I've acquired a new bit of plot and planted all new plants!
The size of course is determined by 4ft pallets! )grin2(

There great Mallard, I think I may have to build some of those. My raised beds are 4 foot wide so they should fit like a glove. Thank you for sharing )t'
