Quick fruit cages!Whacked these together on the site ready for preparing next years strawberry patch! All that was paid for was the wire and a few nails!

I have decided next year I will have four times as many strawberry plants as I have now. that way we may get a bowl full each all at once One thing I have learned is you should always plant many more peas and strawberries than you think you nead Relax, I could have been a twin.
Re: Quick fruit cages!Brilliant idea, Mallard
I didn't get strawberries this year to plant, but will get some plants in next year and may need to sweetheart my hubby to help me build a fruit cage like yours. http://www.freshstartforhens.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Quick fruit cages!These are great. I need something like this.
Re: Quick fruit cages!They don't look quite so new now, but I've made more as I've acquired a new bit of plot and planted all new plants!
The size of course is determined by 4ft pallets! Pics in the Spring (I hope!) I'd like to live as a poor man with lots of money.

Re: Quick fruit cages!I really need to get my hands on pallets. Can't wait to see your pics, Mallard~
Re: Quick fruit cages!There great Mallard, I think I may have to build some of those. My raised beds are 4 foot wide so they should fit like a glove. Thank you for sharing
