Here is the coop that I started when I spiked my foot. It not quite finished but another morning will see it finished. Its not entirely made out of pallets but everything used was entirely free. Normally I refuse to reuse nails but so many came out when I dimantled the pallets I decided to use them. I will be building two individual runs off the front of each of the coops in the picture. The little chooks will be in their new home Saturday. Relax, I could have been a twin.

Re: Welcome to Buckingham PalletGreat job there Al
Re: Welcome to Buckingham PalletLooks good Al, it looks more than strong enough to withstand those harsh Northern winters (from a Southerner's point of view) or from the Northern's point of view that time of year when a Northern lad might think about wearing a long sleeved shirt.
Did you reuse "the nail" or does that have pride of place on the mantle. Dom Ali Woks My World
Re: Welcome to Buckingham PalletExcellent job there AL

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That will teach you to keep your mouth shut - Ernest Hemingway Re: Welcome to Buckingham PalletThanks everyone ,
Dom I havn't reused "the nail" its not on the mantle but I have not thrown it away yet As for long sleeved shirts, I'm not realy one for going out in a T shirt during a blizzard Having said that I believe there is no such thing as bad weather just wrong type of clothing. Please do still put your storage box on, I think this section is as much to show and inspire others as to what can be done. Relax, I could have been a twin.

Re: Welcome to Buckingham PalletThat's really clever Al - well worth a teeny bit of pain.
Sorry AL but you are completely wrong. I hate wearing warm winter stuff - it so doesn't make me feel good! Helen xx

But when I see people wearing skimpy clothing on a freezing cold day and they are complaining about the weather it just annoys me.

Re: Welcome to Buckingham PalletOh yes, I agree there! That just wouldn't happen with me! But I do love wearing summer clothes - so easy. I never feel warm enough in anything attractive in the winter!
