Welcome to Buckingham Pallet

Post by AL37 »

Are we allowed more than one entry per member? If not then disregard this project and I am happy to just enter the brooder. )t'
Here is the coop that I started when I spiked my foot. It not quite finished but another morning will see it finished.
Its not entirely made out of pallets but everything used was entirely free.
Normally I refuse to reuse nails but so many came out when I dimantled the pallets I decided to use them.
I will be building two individual runs off the front of each of the coops in the picture.
The little chooks will be in their new home Saturday. )c(

Looks good Al, it looks more than strong enough to withstand those harsh Northern winters (from a Southerner's point of view) or from the Northern's point of view that time of year when a Northern lad might think about wearing a long sleeved shirt.
Did you reuse "the nail" or does that have pride of place on the mantle.

Thanks Mallard,
Please do still put your storage box on, I think this section is as much to show and inspire others as to what can be done. )t'

Blimey, that's good.

Don't forget, although I'm keeping this Category going, the 'Summer' part ends on 30th. Sept and competition will start as soon as I can gather it all up etc.

Sorry AL but you are completely wrong. I hate wearing warm winter stuff - it so doesn't make me feel good!

Don't get me wrong Helen, I would far rather be in shorts and a T shirt and have warm sunny days all year round. But when I see people wearing skimpy clothing on a freezing cold day and they are complaining about the weather it just annoys me.

Oh yes, I agree there! That just wouldn't happen with me! But I do love wearing summer clothes - so easy. I never feel warm enough in anything attractive in the winter! :?
