Don't be so silly Al. That's far too big to fit in the coop. Also, even if it did fit they would never be able to find it as it would blend in with the walls.

Hmm. Problem is that terracotta would be perfect camoflage for the chickens and you would never be able to find them when you need them to hoover or sweep the chimney.

Probably best I don't bother then, the hens can just find a nice puddle instead :-D

Oh it wouldn't stay lost for long against the white walls - it would soon be a turgid shade of brown like they manage to turn their drinking water {rofwl}

An update,
It is now in the trailor hitched to my car ready for delivery in the morning. I will take pictures (Subject to the new owners permission) and post them some time tomorrow evening. )c( )c( )c(

Just to let you know the coop, run and four very lucky ex batts are spending their first night in a lovely new home.
I delivered them today and spent most of the day putting the run together as the hens explored their new garden. I just know they will have the best life possible with their new guardian.
I am resisting the temptation to post pictures as I think we may be getting a new member who I am sure would like to post some her self. )t'
