A frugal fence!

Post by Mallard »

Been on the plot most of the day today whilst its dry!
One of my mates was asked by the business next door if he'd like some wooden lats all cut to the same size; a hundred or so! After he'd given the bloke his hand back he made a nice fence round his plot. Today I swapped him 20 Parkies for a barrow full.
The fence posts are heavy duty pallet, but I had to buy 30 feet of timber and a few nails from Bee & Queue, £8.64 (10% day today). Not a bad fence at the price! :-D
That'll keep out the cricket mad Aussie in the next plot, hope he doesn't take offence! )grin2(

Mallard,
Is that Al or Dave that's visiting your plot??
Could you get Raven to make little trophy shaped carvings to go on top of the posts to really annoy you Aussie neighbour.
Looks really good.
