Boot Jack
Boot JackA simple device for pulling wellies off, and I'm sure some of you have one!
This was bashed together quickly with off cuts, but I intend to make a smarter one sometime. It saves time and cursing; one foot on and pull! I'd like to live as a poor man with lots of money.

Re: Boot JackMallard,
Simple is often best. Standing on stool to take off your wellies looks dangerous wouldn't it be easier on the floor? Dom Ali Woks My World
Re: Boot JackYou are getting worse Dom
Well done Mallard, looks useful and does the job I have a metal one bought me for Christmas about 20 years ago. I wouldn't be without out it. It has been such a perfect gift. Wendy http://www.busheyk9.co.uk
If you can't be a good example........ you will just have to be a horrible warning
Re: Boot Jack

Re: Boot JackMy goodness...that took me back! It looks exactly like the one I made in my earliest woodwork lessons at the village school as a 10-year-old.
I remember because the only other things I managed to complete were a toilet roll holder and a sturdy but wobbly footstool. I would have finished a bathroom cabinet, but I was beaten by the clock and had to go on to secondary school the next term. There, my woodworking `skills' never again reached such giddy heights. At primary school we handled - and often mishandled - sharp chisels, saws and even a lathe. But we didn't have health and safety inspectors to nanny us. I don't suffer from stress. But I am a carrier.
At last! I've found out what Mrs Shears does down in the shed: www.debbiemitchell.co.uk Re: Boot Jack
Sorry Al, but Jack must be on the left as I heard Jill saying 'I'm all right Jack'. Helen xx
