I think you're probably right perchy...Thanks Foggy ..we did one every 6 months for the first 7 years we've been together and the ones we sold on I always wanted to do a bit more to..but hubby reigned me in.. ..and the 4 we've kept are always needing something doing to them... Re: Laying linoI don't think I would want to part with them

Re: Laying linoHi babycakes, if you still have the old carpet, you could use it as a template.Draw round with a marker and cut a smidge bigger and try it.You can always trim bits off till it fits.
Lino is horrible to fit round toilets and corners unless you've got experience or lots of luck. Re: Laying linoThere is an easy way to lay lino round toilet pans but hellish to explain.
Get some paper - sorta A3 size or bigger and lay it close to the base.Gat a straight edge and scribe around the base - so it makes loads of straight lines that will intersect - giving you the exact shape. Did that make sense?

Made sense to me Vir prudens non contra ventum mingit

Re: Laying linoWow, wish I;d had time to check back here before we laid the lino together! It's not a perfect job but it's down, it fits well enough (and where it doesn't is covered by the mat thing hehehe) and most importantly I LOVE IT!!!
Waiting to welcome Sunny Clucker to Northern Ireland!
