Climbing plants against a metal shedClimbing plants against a metal shedHi all,
what is the best way to attach some trellis or netting for the climbers to grow up on? I'm a little nervous of drilling holes in the metal in case it leaks in water. thank you It'll be alright in the end, if it's not alright then it's not the end.
Re: Climbing plants against a metal shedNo-more-nails type glue to fix battens to the shed, then screw into the batten.
(no idea if that's the 'right' answer, but it's what I would do) Re: Climbing plants against a metal shedI would probably either grow up freestanding trellis in front of the shed, or try to attach wire of some sort - perhaps it could be wound round the screws that hold it together?

Re: Climbing plants against a metal shedWhere the roof panels overhang into the gutter- drill a few small holes as near to the edge as you can and tie the trellis to the holes drilled.
