Not a pallet, a jumper recycled

Post by Stef »

Sorry, but I'm quite pleased with myself/ Admittedly I cut the length of material from the wrong part of the jumper and then made button holes in the wrong place, but a third button saved it.

It's my practice piece from a felted jumper I got at a car boot last weekend. It's called a scarflette (must be an Americanism!!).

The aim was to make a pair of wrist warmers, a hat, a scarflet and possibly a small bag/purse from one jumper. But my miscutting has stymied that idea this time.

Still I have another jumper :-D

Good use for a jumper that can't be used as a jumper anymore.

I saw a pattern for using felted jumpers as cushion covers...don't know where it went now though...will have a look :-D
