I had a lightbulb moment

Post by Nefertari »

Laying in bed - as one does. When I did up the kitchen of the last house, I bought a couple of rolls of cupboard lining from IKEA. It's sort of rubbery but clear. It's good at shelf lining but equally it would also be good to line a wooden coop. Easy to clean etc.

Just a thought in case it helps anyone.
It'll be alright in the end, if it's not alright then it's not the end.

I have floored mine with lino off cuts and just pull the lot out when doing a clean. Much easier than trying to clean wood.

When we moved into our house the old cupboards tops were covered in a thick stick residue from frying.

When I put the new units in, I covered the top with cling film. So now there is very little cleaning to be done, as once a year I climb up and remove the old film, wide the top and relay new film and the old goes in the bin.
