conservatory

Post by ChrisG »

Tonight, Hubby came home and told me about a conservatory at the house he was visiting. It is wood and metal framework and is about 17 feet wide by 80 feet long (no that isnt a typo yike* ). Anyway, parts of it are letting in water and so they are going to have it taken down and dipsoed of. It is going to cost them around £5k just to have it taken down and the cost of replacing it is prohibitive, so they arent going to bother.

Now we have a derelict conservatory that was put up in the 70s and it seems to me that we could take down the conservatory for a fraction of the cost and keep the bits to rebuild ours (we would only need 20 feet!) Anyway, do you think it is worth bothering asking? Might end up being paid to rebuild our own conservatory yike*

Sounds like the ideal solution.. get paid for fixing up your own conservatory whilst doing someone else a favour.
I would rather live in a caravan in the country than a mansion in a city.
