Paddys' Boiler

Post by Steve the Gas »

I'm against the clock today, if your valve has a sliding arm/slider on it, then set it to the manual position. Ask for heat via the thermostat and it should carry on working.
If this works then the valve is kaput/or just the head or it's wired up wrong. )t'

Does that any make sense to you??

My other thort is the pump, is it actually turning?
You can check by removing the big silver screw in the centre and turn the shaft with a screwdriver. A dribble of water may come out but that's all, then switch on so you can see it turning. Has the system and boiler been bled of air?
