Project build a bench is underway

Now its not as low down as the one ive seen and liked, but if i make it that low my dad'll never get out of it hahahaha.

It wasnt as hard as i though it would be so far, but it wasnt as easy i first anticipated it would be when i started :-D

I've just lost half an hour or so looking at the site your inspiration picture came from )t'

i think ill make a cushion to sit on then buy the back cushions, cushions are so cheap in some places and they are nice its not worth me making them xx

the weather has been totally rubbish, ive had a few days off and just in bed, because ive been shattered, but today ive done a little bit. Ive taken the rest of the pallet apart - its so hard honestly! and we now have arm on the bench:

I now need to de-nail the rest of the bits of woods and put the back on, and im seriously tempted to take it apart and sand it down but then, i do like the natural look and it will have cushions on.

At the most if will need a coat of wood paint i think? :?

Nice job, Boos. Love seeing women grab the power tools and create something useful and attractive. You should be proud of yourself.
