A couple of basic projects

Post by officinalis »

I've just joined and I love it here already! I like crafting a lot, but I usually steer clear of bigger projects, until recently.

I made a potting bench from recycled pallets:

I'm already thinking of re-doing certain parts but it does the job well enough for now.

I also improvised (I hesitate to say made) a cold frame from things I had lying around, since my little greenhouse frame was filling up fast:

I ran out of 'things' when it came to the front, and this plastic bottle greenhouse (http://www.squidoo.com/plasticbottlegreenhouse) has stuck in my mind since I saw it, so I decided to give a similar idea a go.
